From east coast to west coast
Author: Joseph Sandoval
My entire life has been spent on the east coast. I was born on the east coast. I grew up here and even went to school on the east coast. So, when I was offered a job on the west coast, I was a little scared to take it. I know the company could sense my hesitation. It was a great job with great benefits, but it was so far away. The company really wanted me and started offering me a lot of incentives. First, I was offered four weeks paid vacation. It was a great offer, but not enough to get me to the opposite side of the country. Then they offered me an apartment. I would have a state of the art kitchen, a alarm system installed by ADT San Francisco, two bathrooms and a walk-in closet. I was sold. How could anyone turn down an offer like this? I would be far away from my friends and family, but with my four weeks of vacation, I knew I would still see them often. As much as I love the east coast and was hesitant to leave, I think it will be a nice change. As scared as I was in the beginning, I am now excited about this new move.
